How it works
1
You owe a total of ₱25,000 — ₱5,000 from before plus ₱20,000 new.
2
You pay ₱1,500 every 15 days, starting April 30, 2026. That's roughly twice a month.
3
Zero interest — as long as you pay on time, you only ever pay back exactly what you borrowed.
4
After 17 payments, the loan is completely done. Last payment: December 26, 2026 — a Christmas gift to yourself! 🎄
✅ The good news

Pay on time every time and you will never pay a single peso in interest or penalties. You borrow ₱25,000 — you pay back exactly ₱25,000. That's it.

⚠️ What happens if you're late?
⏰ The penalty rule

If a payment is late, a flat ₱200 penalty applies immediately. Then ₱100 is added for every week (or part of a week) it stays unpaid. Each missed payment has its own penalty running from its own due date — they don't mix.

😬 5 days late

You miss a payment and pay 5 days after the due date.

₱200 flat + ₱100 (week 1) = ₱300 penalty
You pay ₱1,800 instead of ₱1,500
😰 2 weeks late

Life gets busy and 14 days go by.

₱200 flat + ₱100 (week 1) + ₱100 (week 2) = ₱400 penalty
You pay ₱1,900 instead of ₱1,500
😱 A whole month late

30 days pass without a payment.

₱200 flat + ₱100 × 4 weeks = ₱600 penalty
You pay ₱2,100 instead of ₱1,500
That's an extra ₱600 — 40% on top of your payment!
😰😰 Two payments missed — Day 22

Both Payment 1 (Day 0) and Payment 2 (Day 15) unpaid by Day 22.

Payment 1: ₱200 + ₱100 + ₱100 = ₱400
Payment 2: ₱200 + ₱100 = ₱300
₱700 in penalties + ₱3,000 owed = ₱3,700 total
❗ Miss 3 in a row?

If three payments in a row are missed, the lender has the right to take the motorbike as settlement. This doesn't mean they will — but they can. Each missed payment is also still collecting its own penalty the whole time. Much easier to just stay on track. 🙏
